Major petroleum companies in Nigeria


As an oil-rich nation, Nigeria poses as a very tempting destination for oil and gas production companies. The country currently has quite a number of oil and gas companies doing well for themselves. These companies do not only produce oil and gas, but many of them also partake in the business of selling the end products of crude. These petroleum companies have fuel stations spread across the country.

There are various petroleum companies in Nigeria varying from Conoil to MRS to Oando to Forte to Mobil to Total. Even the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) does not exclude itself from the entire oil and gas business. The corporation, among other things, oversees activities concerning oil and gas, including the price of petroleum products, in Nigeria.
