Saudi energy minister talks oil market stability with President Buhari


Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari recently met with Saudi energy Minister, Khalid Al-Falih to discuss cooperation between the two OPEC member countries in the energy sector.

This was made known through the Saudi energy minister’s tweet according to Reuters which stated that he met with president Muhammadu Buhari on the margins of the World Economic Forum on the Middle East and North Africa in Jordan, where they discussed “ways of cooperating in the fields of energy and industry, and the importance of cooperation for the stability of the global oil market.”

Apparently, The global oil market has been thronged with myriads of challenges especially as some OPEC members are not complying with the agreed benchmark for all members.

Meanwhile, Nigeria and some other African countries were recently lauded for their pivotal roles to ensuring that there is a sustenance in the global oil market for OPEC members.
